Consultations details:
Our Hair & Scalp Health Consultation offers a personalized assessment with our experienced Clinical Trichologists; Teresa and Eleanore.
We’ll work to diagnose your specific condition, whether it’s hair loss like Alopecia Areata or a scalp issue like Psoriasis, and provide a clear, sustainable, individual treatment plan to help you improve your hair and scalp health.
During your consultation, we’ll take the time to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and the specific concerns you’re facing. Our goal is to pinpoint the root cause of your hair loss or scalp problem. We’ll examine your hair and scalp, potentially take samples for viewing under a microscope, and will often photograph your hair and scalp to keep a record in your case file and compare it to the following treatments in the future.
We work with a wide range of conditions, including:
Hair Loss:
- Alopecia Areata: An autoimmune condition causing circular patches of hair loss.
- Androgenetic Alopecia: The most common form of hair loss, also known as male or female pattern baldness.
- Telogen Effluvium: Temporary hair shedding often triggered by stress, illness, or hormonal changes.
Scalp Conditions:
- Psoriasis: A common skin condition that can cause red, flaky patches on the scalp.
- Seborrhoeic Eczema: A type of dermatitis that leads to an itchy, flaky scalp.
Lastly, we’ll discuss your diagnosis, if possible, and walk you through your treatment options and care recommendations.
Duration: 45-60 minutes.

Personalised treatment for a wide range of hair loss and scalp conditions like Alopecia Areata, Androgenetic Alopecia, Telogen Effluvium, Psoriasis and Seborrhoeic Eczema.
Our comprehensive approach to treatments include electrotherapy, infra-red light therapy, steam therapy and a full wash phase alongside our formulated products to deliver therapeutic results with the greatest impact and empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to restore your hair and scalp health.
Our Clinical Scalp & Hair Treatments give you the opportunity to access professional equipment in a calm and discreet surrounding, with individual bays for increased patient privacy.
We work with all hair types but have particular expertise in working with afro, curly and mixed hair. We treat:
- Hair Loss Conditions:
Alopecia Areata, Androgenetic Alopecia, Scarring Alopecia, Telogen Effluvium, and Traction Alopecia. - Scalp Conditions:
Contact Dermatitis, Folliculitis, Psoriasis, and Seborrhoeic Eczema.
This service is offered exclusively to patients who are actively treating their hair at the clinic and are regularly booking in for treatments, at least every 6 weeks, in between trims.
Cancellations or Booking Changes:
If your circumstances changes, you can reschedule or cancel your booking here.
Alternatively, please give us a call on 02077316695 or email us at info@fulhamscalphairclinic.com to let us know ahead of time, so that we may offer your slot to another patient.
We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Should you fail to attend without notice, or cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 hours of your scheduled time you will be charged 100% of the reservation fee.
Considerations:
- If possible, please do not bring a companion, as we have a small waiting area.
- Only the patient is allowed in the consultation room, unless the patient is a child (under the age of 18 years) or has any disability and will need a carer present.
- Kindly arrive for your appointment on time, late arrival will eat into your consultation time.
- Please keep us notified if you think you may miss the start of your appointment.
- If you are later than 15 mins after your consultation is scheduled, your appointment will be cancelled and deposit deducted.
